Description

A young man barely out of his teens with the slender but trim body of someone who's spent a lot of time on physical exercise or manual labour - or both. He carries himself with that in-bred hauteur of the truly noble born, but without appearing arrogant. He seems to possess the gift of being equally down with the commoners. He chooses to dress in fine but simple fashions that usually consist of a plain white shirt, soft leather breeches and tall boots. Dressing up though might entail a richly embroidered purple gown in Carthaginian style or similar outlandish garb.

Personality

He's very laid-back and easy-going, studying the foreign worlds around him with equal wonder and awe. He seems to be open to every kind of new experience and will never say no to some sort of adventure, but people should not think that his friendliness is an invitation to treat him as a doormat.

Quirks:

• Forever Optimistic: Having grown up in a stable environment, in a country very much on the upswing thanks to all the trade passing through Brabant's ports, André likes to think of the world as a happy place. Problems are there for solving.

• Loves hiding as a Commoner: During his apprenticeship with a merchant in the port of Antwerp, André relished in the fact that nobody knew he was the prince and heir and buckled to him. Ever since he's enjoyed dressing down as a commoner from time to time to experience life free from all the restraints of his status and title.
